Thomas Nowlan serves as the President and Chairman of the Board for the North Adams
SteepleCats. With a deep passion for the game and a strong commitment to the community,
Thomas leads the organization in its mission to provide a top-tier baseball experience for
players, fans, and the greater Northern Berkshires region.
A former collegiate baseball player at Westfield State University, Thomas brings firsthand
experience and knowledge of the game to his leadership role. His background in coaching,
including serving as an assistant baseball coach at Wahconah Regional High School and
Pittsfield Babe Ruth, has further strengthened his ability to foster player development and
engagement within the SteepleCats organization.
Under Thomas’s leadership, the SteepleCats are focused on enhancing the fan experience,
fostering strong relationships with local businesses, and ensuring the long-term success of the
franchise. His vision centers on keeping high-level baseball in North Adams while continuing to
make the SteepleCats an integral part of the community.
When he’s not at the ballpark, Thomas enjoys giving back to the community, mentoring young
athletes, and spending time with his wife, Kim, and beagle, Millie.

Nicholas Sacco

Nicholas Sacco is a 20-year-old Sports Management student with deep roots in the North Adams community and a lifelong passion for athletics. A graduate of Drury High School, Nicholas was a standout student-athlete, serving as captain of both the basketball and baseball teams. His dedication to sports was recognized through prestigious honors, including the Caleb Jacobbe Award and the James Shaker Award.

After high school, Nicholas took a gap year to work in behavioral special education, an experience that strengthened his leadership skills and deepened his appreciation for teamwork and resilience.

Nicholas has been involved with the North Adams SteepleCats for many years—hosting players and contributing behind the scenes in various roles. His long-standing connection to the organization has fueled his desire to pursue a career in the sports industry. Now studying Sports Management in college, Nicholas is eager to continue building his experience and giving back to the game that has given him so much.
